Artist Statement
Her work explores themes of self-identity, as well as the relationship between place and the individual, examining how they reflect and influence one another.
She is drawn to transitional states, ambiguity, and what remains unspoken — to what is hidden beneath the surface. She seeks to capture the moment when the personal subtly emerges within the surrounding environment.
She works with portraiture and self-portraiture.
